"For myself I hold no preferences among flowers, so long as they are wild, free, spontaneous. Bricks to all greenhouses! Black thumb and cutworm to the potted plant!" Edward Abbey
WOW....What a quote "bricks to all greenhouses".....Flowers should be wild, free and spontaneous just like the ones pictured, not in a glass cage or pot. These particular beauties were found down a long country road in Prince Edward Island Canada last Summer. I made a turn and there before me an ocean of wildflowers presented themselves in all their majestic glory. My response was spontaneous, the Jeep skidded to a halt and I was off, running through them like a child at play. I finally just stopped and sat in the middle of natures precious colors. Bees and bright yellow butterflies added to the moment and for a brief time it was if I literally became "one with the earth". I laid back, welcomed by the sweet smelling grass and gazed at fluffy white sculptured clouds dashing North in the Canadian sky. I was at peace.
